That would be sweet but highly unlikely. The only reason to think that it is possible because Benn would love to play close to home. |

Keep dreaming.Benn is the future of the Stars. Don't be like Eklund and throw poop against the wall to see if it sticks. You have enough to worry about with Kessler and Luongo. Go Stars! |

This is the #1 question for the Stars once the CBA is approved. I don't think the Stars have any chance to get Benn to agree to an intermediate contract. Probably looking at a minimum of 5 to 6 year contract at around 6M per year which is very reasonable with his potential. |

I'm sure Burke has a pretty big man-stiffy for a guy with Benn's skill-set, though I'm certain we don't have the pieces to get him without gutting our roster + farm.
Awesome player, though. |

Is Derek Roy 100% yet? And I'm guessing we won't be giving faksa or many other rookies/kids a look this year with how important each game will be. Unless they just stand out and earn a spot. |

You guys are going to be wanting Roy outta Dallas before you even get to the 20 game mark. Sabres fans have wanted Roy outta here for the last 3 years and we finally got our wish.
Thank you for Ott by the way. |

I believe I saw a quote from someone on the Stars say that Roy should be fine whenever training camp starts. |

I'll take a player capable of 70pts over a grinder any day. Plus you guys are stuck with Pardy's contract |

Ott's a much better all-around player than Roy. |

You guys need to stop taking Scooby, Boinker, Vantel, Fosco, Beeker#3 etc. so seriously. Seems like every guy with a quote as his location has one involving them or Eklund. - Nucker101
Strange how they are all Van fans dontcha think? |

Well, I was really only mentioned the regulars on Esplen's blog so no surprise that they're all Canuck fans.
It's just funny when people take their troll comments seriously and then proceed to call all Canucks fans idiots and saying that we all expect Reilly and a first in return for Luongo.
I'll admit that we probably do have to most trolls on this site, % of regulars wise anyways. |

Ott's advanced stats are better not to mention that he bring toughness, grit, character, etc. He's also signed for a year longer and is cheaper. |

Ott is a fan favorite and great teammate, but seen him reach his potential offensively. Saw plenty of breakaways clank off the iron over the years. I think Roy has much greater potential and a change of scenery will help.
Everyone in Montreal couldn't wait to get off Ribs and that worked out pretty well. 3rd line talent and agitators are pretty easy to find. |
